• Ionized water is a powerful antioxidant and provides the body with lots of oxygen. The other Antioxidant quality of Ionized Water is hydroxyl ions. Filters should be replaced approximately every 9 - 12 months depending on water conditions. Slow the water flow down on the Water Ionizer and the glass you fill will have thousands of tiny bubbles in it. Those are hydroxyl ions, which is the antioxidant and the reason for the Negative ORP. The ORP is the most fragile aspect of Ionized Water lasting only a maximum of 18-24 hours. You can also run water through the unit that is slightly tepid and not too cold to get full ionization potential.

Start drinking Ionized Water slowly because it is very detoxifying since ionization reduces the size of the water molecule clusters making it significantly more hydrating than conventional water. Classic detoxification symptoms are headaches, rashes and diarrhea. If you experience any of these symptoms, put the ionizer on a lower level (numbers 1 or 2) for several days till the symptoms end, and then begin slowly drinking higher ionization levels till you reach the highest level. Here are the AQ500 features:

1. The AQ500 Water Ionizer uses five platinized-titanium plates that are double the average size of most other water ionizer's plates (20cm by 7cm) and also thicker. Pictured right, the top plate is the average water ionizer plate size, the bottom is the AQ500 plate.
2. The AQ500 measures water intake by actual liters produced instead of using a filter timer like most other water ionizers. Thus, the AQ500 will accurately tell you when to change your filter.
3. Advanced filtration is essential to premium ionized water. The AQ500 uses seven levels of filtration including high quality activated carbon, calcium, antifungal felt, and more.
4. Most water ionizers use a transformer to supply a direct electrical current to the plates, which inevitably lead to overheating and shortened lifespan. Just as the human body becomes ill from too much heat or stress, over time a water ionizer will break down from exposure to heat. The AQ500 solves this problem because it is equipped with the SMPS system that does not use a transformer. Thus it reduces not only heat but noise, weight, and loss of power from using a transformer.
